Occupational therapists (OTs) can enhance function, promote relationships, assist with participation in social activities and find ways for people to live well.
We can provide education, skills and support for your family, care providers, and clients, and promote your strengths.
We aim to ensure that people living with dementia and their families have the support needed to live, and not exist.
How we assess
First, we ask that you contact us via telephone or email, or click on the link below to fill in our contact form. Alternatively you can book a free 30 minute consultation over the phone to see if we can help.
If you are happy to continue to OT assessment, we will then book you in for an appointment.
This will usually be undertaken in your own home, care home or residential home. Online initial assessments can be offered if this is preferred during the current pandemic.
During this assessment we will want to discover how you are currently managing with your daily activities, discuss what you would like to achieve or how we can make life a little easier for you.
We will work with you to set achievable goals and expectations bespoke to you and your carers needs and we will help you to achieve these.
We offer packages ranging from one off assessments, assessments and a therapy report, through to 4, 8 or 12 weeks therapy input.
We can also provide ongoing or ad-hoc support if required.
